Kelsey Yates

Kelsey Yates has had a lifelong passion for newspapers and storytelling. Originally from Alberta, she graduated from SAIT Polytechnic's journalism program in 2016. She went on to serve as a reporter for a variety of weekly publications including the Airdrie Echo, Cochrane Times, and Strathmore Standard. After 10 years spent in the Calgary area, she made the move to the Creston Valley to enjoy the beautiful scenery and outdoor recreation. When not in the office, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, birdwatching, painting, and hanging out with her cat, Kiki.
