What's SUP? SUPracing in the Kootenays!

This Sunday, August 25 Endless Adventure presents the second Annual SUPrace of the season.

This Sunday, August 25 Endless Adventure presents the second Annual SUPrace of the season on the Slocan River between Shore Acres and the Glade Ferry Landing, a moving water section ideal for Intermediate paddlers. Earlier in the morning, a beginner race will take place on the Kootenay River near

Slocan Pool, for those who want something more mellow.

As Stand Up Paddle-boarding (SUP) has grown in popularity throughout the Kootenays, the SUPrace provides an opportunity for beginners, intermediate, and expert paddlers to get together and share their love

of the sport, with an added dose of friendly competition.

In the last two years, the Annual SUPrace has brought over 20 competitors from all over the Kootenays to compete and share their love of SUPing. This year, the race day will allow for two separate races starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m., including a free SUP demo in the morning and

lunch provided to the competitors courtesy of Funky Lemon.

Endless Adventure, ROAM, and Just Liquid will be providing the opportunity to demo their vast selection of SUP boards.Whether you are interested in trying an Inflatable SUP, a Fibreglass beauty, or a Foam Top, you will be able to find a SUP board that suits you best. And there are even

prizes to be won.

Come on out to cheer on the competitors, learn to SUP, and find your perfect board all in one day. Contact Endless

Adventure at 250-359-8181 or info@endlessadventure.ca
