The Nakusp is Hockeyville Rally in the Valley is on Friday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Nakusp & District Sports Complex. Nakusp Midget Rep Falcons will play against the Winfield Midget Reps. Nakusp is Hockeyville T-shirts will be on sale for $10 plus tax ($11.20). The first 100 kids will receive a door prize, there will be a 50/50 draw and we will be giving out noise makers while supplies last. Admission to the event is free, but we are asking people to bring a donation to the food bank.
We have volunteers ready to assist with submitting stories on the behalf of anyone not having access to a computer and the Nakusp CAP Site is open six days a week, for public computer usage. For hours of operation people can call them at 265-3736. If pictures are a problem, we can help with that too. We have a very large photo bank to draw from. All people have to do is call Andrea Coates at 265-3114 to arrange a meeting. There will also be a Story Submission Booth available for people to sit and write their stories, at the Nakusp is Hockeyville – Rally in the Valley and volunteers will be on site to assist.
