The Nakusp Midget Rep Falcons are officially in the provincials and will be fundraising over the next several weeks to pay their way.
The Falcons are looking to raise $12,000 in expenses for team travel, accommodations and meals for the week-long tournament.
As for the team record – the team went undefeated in league play, winning all 10 games. Including exhibition games, the team had a record of 19 wins, six losses and one tie.
The team will be hosting a fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 11 when they play the Senior Falcons.
The tournament runs from March 20–25 in Surrey, so keep an eye out for those fundraisers in the coming weeks.
