Bottle drive to help out this Nakusp family

It takes a Village to raise a child right? Well a child needs this villages help.

Editor,

It takes a Village to raise a child right? Well a child needs this villages help.

Timothy Roberts son of Shannon and Paul Roberts and brother to Kimberly and Alexander, was born on Sept. 5, 2010. He wasn’t supposed to be due until Dec. 5, 2010.

Weighing just one pound, ten ounces, Timothy has fought very hard for his health and his life. He spent his first eight weeks in Royal Columbia Hospital in Vancouver with his mother.

They then spent three more weeks in Kelowna together waiting for little Timothy to grow and become stronger!

As of now Timothy has had to return to Vancouver twice and goes to Kelowna once a month to ensure he is doing well.

Today Timothy is 11 pounds, six ounces and is doing well!

Here is Timothy’s problem now. All this is hard on a family. The trips and overnight stays, the fuel and food. In this economy when we are all struggling I know little Timothy needs his village and us!

Please support this bottle drive to help offset the costs of Timothy’s care for his family! Find all your bottles and have them ready to be picked up or drop them off at:
