Predeceased by his wife Marion, daughter Cheryl Marshall-Young parents Jack and Helen Marshall and sister Elsie Reese.

Missed by daughter Cindy, son Richard (Shirley) daughter Lisa, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, his brother Bob, and numerous family and friends.

Bill owned his own logging truck, hauling logs, then switched careers to construction where he helped build a lot of roads in the area. He retired early to look after his wife.

Bill was an avid hunter, trapper, gardener. His family meant everything to him. He had a great sense of humor, loved his games of crib, his peppermints and his ice cream.

Bill was well known for his dedication to visiting his wife every day for years, at Minto house. After living all his life in Burton, he sold his home to move to Nakusp to be closer to her.

The family would like to thank the staff (family) at Minto House for everything over the years.
