Roger Zerrath
September 18th, 1926 - December 3rd, 2009
It is with great sadness that we inform the greater community of the passing of Roger Zerrath, Dairy Farmer, of Edgewood, B.C.
Born, 18th of September, 1926 to Hans & Eva ( Nee Klapp ) Zerrath, in Jaeger-Tactau, East Prussia; Died 3rd of December, 2009 in Vernon Jubilee Hospital, at age of 83, due to multiple complications following appendicitis.
Roger was a much-loved and respected man. He was an active Dairy Farmer, his joy for 50 years, 39 of which were in Edgewood, B.C. He leaves behind Sigrid, his wife, partner and greatest help-mate for 53 years. Also his sister, Heide Zerrath (Germany); 4 sisters-in-law (Germany, Canada, Australia) and one brother-in-law (Canada); many nieces and nephews, good friends
and neighbours; his daughter, Anne (Daivd) Zerrath; his son, Hans (Donna) Zerrath, who has taken over the farm; and his 5 beloved grandchildren; Rogerand Mathew (and their mother, Jennifer), and Katherine, Samuel and Johannes.
He will be missed.
