It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Florence McInnes announces her passing on Saturday August 24, 2019. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her children Kathleen (Eugene) of Melbourne, Australia, Maureen (Bill) of Carnduff, Sask, Roderick of Surrey, BC, Malcolm (Linda) of Nakusp, BC and Colin (Stacey) of Carnduff, Sask, her grandchildren Mason (Carey), Crossman, Nolan (Mandy) Crossman, Kellen (Delie) Crossman, Rowan Docherty, Freya Docherty, Nathyn (Michelle) McInnes, Dugan McInnes, great grandchildren Porter, Kaleb, Holt, Calder, Sloane, Peyton and Thea.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Ron, brothers Arthur and Jack, sisters Maude and Trudy. Margaret is survived by her brother Tom (Margaret) Hammond, sister-in-law Alicia Hammond and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dean and Joan McInnes, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Life service was held on August 31, 2019 at 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Nakusp. Valley Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
