Marc Veilleux, born February 6th, 1959 passed away suddenly on May 31st, 2010 at Balfour, B.C. at the age of 51 years.
Marc was born in Hearst, Ontario and grew up in Timmins, Ontario. He moved to Nakusp, B.C. in the fall of 1981 and made his home here.
Marc leaves behind to mourn his loss his wife Heather and three children, Roland, Melanie and Paul, all of Nakusp, B.C. He also leaves to mourn his loving mother, Gertrude and sister and niece, Ginette and Melissa, of Kapuskasing, Ontario, his sister Line (Doug) Lamont and nephew Bailey of Calgary, AB., and his brother Roger (Christine) of Whitehorse, YT and 3 nieces, Tammy, Mindy and Selena.
Marc is survived by many relatives and friends all over the country and was predeceased by his beloved father, Roland Veilleux, in 1973.
Marc's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Mr. Ron Baerg of Valley Funeral Home and Pastor Warren Fulmore of the Alliance Church for their kindness and valued assistance with all of the arrangements, as well as to Marilyn Massey, pianist, and Lynn Robson and friends for the incredible feast prepared for after the service (grandpa would tell you to 'hang up your shingle').

There are no words or hugs big enough to thank all of the incredible people who have displayed such acts of warmth and kindness evidenced through phone calls, visits, meals, baking, flowers, etc.
