1936-2020 ~ Zenta, aged 84, laid down for her final rest next to her beloved animals on November 27, 2020 at Nakusp, BC. She was born in 1936 at Eschenlohe, Bavaria, Germany.
She was predeceased by her husband Werner, her sister, and her parents.
Zenta is survived by her sons Werner (Linda), and Stefan (Cindy). She was blessed with grandchildren Kayleigh, Jonathan, Ryan, and Amber, and great grandchildren, Mya, Victoria, Jaxon, and Harper.
Mom (Oma) loved the outdoors, her farm, and her animals each responding by name. She was an avid swimmer and up until a few years ago one could often find her swimming in the Arrow Lakes well into November.
Well known and admired for her fierce independence and tireless work ethic, remembered by many for her smile, rosy cheeks, and braided hair.
A private Memorial will be held in the Spring of 2021. Zac Schmidt of Valley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
