Of all the gifts that life has to offer, a loving mother is the greatest gift of all.
Linda Mae Cound made an impact on everyone she met. She lived life unapologetically on her own terms and wasn't afraid to let everyone know that!
She loved, she laughed - often at herself - she fearlessly spoke her mind and this was just a part of the reason everyone loved her. There was nothing orthodox about Linda, even until the end. Many a nurse had a story about meeting Linda!
She was the life of the party, the butt of her own jokes, and impossible to forget.
If a person's life was measured by the lives she touched, the kindness she extended or the good words shared by those who miss her...hers will be immeasurable.
She was fearless in life and in love. She often told us how lucky she was to have had 2 loves of her life. Rick for 53 years and Terry for 3 years. This is a testament to the kind of woman she was.
Even though sadness fills our hearts, we are left with a family legacy that we are determined to carry on. So we will feel the sadness, we will cry the tears and then we will dry our eyes and get on with the business of living our best lives - because she'd kick our butts if we didn't!
Special thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Arrow Lakes Hospital. We are a very lucky community!
No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Linda's name would be greatly appreciated.
~Lovingly remembered by the Cound, Hascarl, Brodbeck families
