born on April 2 1932, passed away suddenly on January 21, 2008 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 75. Joseph moved from his birthplace of High Prairie, Alberta to Arrow Park, BC in July 1952 and then to Nakusp, BC in 1968 where he made his home.
Joe was predeceased by his brother Norman in 2003 at the age of 74 and is survived by his wife, Jean, seven children, Darlene (Bruce) Seligman, Raymond (Anne) Halldorson, David Halldorson, Carol (Andy) Kusch, Joanne (Bill) Cowan, Charlotte Halldorson, Loretta (Bob) Urie, four stepdaughters Christine (Dave) Brunen, Gale (Kurt) Kardel, Pam Huyter, Thelma Martel, 22 grand children and 12 great grand children. He is also survived by three sisters, Alice, Inga, Hazel and one brother Oli along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is deeply loved and will be sorely missed. We would like to thank the Drs and Nurses at the Arrow Lakes Hospital and Kelowna General Hospital for their care of Joe.
