Born in Saskatoon, Sask. to J. Lawrence and Elsie Wilson, the family moved to Silverton, B.C. in 1945. Harvey attended St. George’s Boys School in Vancouver and SAIT in Calgary. He returned to Nakusp to start a life-time career in forestry. Harvey contributed his time to many projects in Nakusp including: the Golf Club, Minor Hockey and Little League.. Harvey is predeceased by his loving wife of 41 years Margaret Ann (2004). Harvey will be deeply missed by his brother Lloyd (Trudy) Wilson, daughter Catherine Robinson, son Guy Wilson and son Craig (Amber) Wilson. Also cherished by 3 grandchildren, Mary, John and Maggie. As requested in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to either St. Mark’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund, Box 118, Nakusp, B.C. V0G 1R0 or the Canadian Cancer Society, Box 821, Nakusp, B.C. V0G 1R0. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Nakusp on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at 2 p.m., interment to follow. The family will be having a reception at 4 p.m. at the Senior Citizen’s Hall, please come by.
