GEORGE G. MARKIN

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George G. Markin on October 12th, 2009, just short of his 76th birthday on Nov. 11th.

He is survived by his wife Marjorie. Children: George Anthony, Gwendolyn and Tammy as well as 5 grandchildren. Surviving him also are his sisters: Anne, Vera, Mercedes and brother Bill.

A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, October 25th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.at Midway Curling Club in Midway.

George’s cremated remains will be interred in Hills at a later date.
