It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Fred.
He is survived by his wife, soulmate and love of his life, Elsie of 63 years, his son Barry (Cindy), his daughter, Lorelei, grandchildren Oliver (Amanda), Jacqueline (Rob) and great granddaughters Audrina and Arleigh.
He was a loving husband, father and friend with a brilliant mind. He will always be remembered for his special gift of making people laugh. He touched the hearts of everyone he met.
Second to none was his passion for mushroom and huckleberry picking. Sorry, everyone, the location of his best patches will remain secret forever. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
The family would like to express their loving thanks for the support given at this difficult time and can feel the warmth of the virtual hugs that all of you are sending our way.
