Retired pharmacist Cliff Head passed away August 8th in Kelowna, from pneumonia.
Cliff and his wife Pat were originally from Saskatchewan, then Kelowna, before relocating to Nakusp in 1970 where they operated Head's Pharmacy through the 1980s.
They were active in seniors hockey, golf, curling, and warmly remember many close friends and family in the community, including niece Diane Fergusson.
After retiring they enjoyed many winters golfing in Arizona. Cliff recently suffered strokes and dementia, and lived the past two years in assisted living in Kelowna. At 94 he still played "You are my sunshine" for mom on his harmonica.
He is survived by his wife Pat, daughter Sue, son Kim, daughter in law Cynthia, and grandchildren Dulcie and Fraser. We send our most sincere thanks to all the family and friends who enriched dad and mom's 69 year marriage.
