Casey was born in Vanderhoof, BC on a snowy Thursday to Rob and Donna McCreesh. He was raised in Nakusp, BC where he discovered his love for outdoor adventure.

With his unending energy he enjoyed playing hockey, dirt biking, ATVing and traveling around the world. Casey’s high school years were spent in Parksville, BC, where he graduated from Ballenas High and continued his education at the University of Victoria. A career in commercial fishing allowed him to enjoy his love of the ocean. Later, his ambition and hard work paid off working on the oilrigs as a motor hand.

His passions included Conor, who lovingly cared for him; his truck, “McBain” and last but not least was “Fuzzy Peaches”. All who knew Casey will remember him as a loyal friend with integrity, concern for others and zest for life. His strength, courage and positivity during the past two years had an inspiring impact to all who knew him.

Casey is survived by his girlfriend Conor MacKinnon, parents Rob and Donna McCreesh, grandparents Ian and Eve McCreesh and Leonard and Kay Shields, brothers Shilo (Tera) McCreesh and Brendan McCreesh, sisters Shawna Day and Shari (Andy) White, nieces, nephews and many friends and family.
