February 17, 1932 - September 26, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Boettger on September 26, 2019. Joan was born Beryl Joan Lowery on February 17, 1932 in Vancouver, B.C.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Robert Boettger and her daughter, Patricia Gustafson. (Predeceased by brother Robert James Lowery and daughter Deborah Ann Hannah).
Joan moved to Fauquier when she and Robert married in 1983. She loved the quiet life, fishing, winemaking and developing new friends in the welcoming community. They spent many happy years traveling in their RV trailer across Canada and wintering in Arizona.
Her quick wit and feisty humour will be sadly missed but forever remembered.
