GREEN - Arthur Hector, 1924 — 2004

Arthur Hector Green passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB on June 28, 2004 at the age of 80 years. He was a native of Carrolls Ldg and also resided in Nakusp, B.C. He was a veteran of the Second World War and the Korean Conflict. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marianne, two brothers, Frank and Dave and two sisters, Marie Gregory and Florence Adshead. Art is survived by his four daughters, Carolyn Painter of Ottawa, ON, Wendy (Brian) Tuson of Cochrane, AB, Dede (Peter) Wiggins of Calgary, AB and Donna (Keven) Phinney of Morinville, AB and a number of grand children. He is also survived by two brothers Leslie and Clifford. Art was a soldier who served his country admirably and proudly for thirty-three years. He served with the British Columbia Regt. (Duke of Connaughts’s Own), King’s Own Calgary Regt (Tank), Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) and The Royal Canadian Army Dental Corps. He was a member of the Masons, Shriners and Royal Canadian Legion and volunteered his time at the Museum of the Regiments. Memorial tributes may be made to MADD and/or the Museum of the Regiments, 4520 Crowchild Trail S.W., Calgary, AB T2T 5J4. A Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2004 Calgary, AB
