Alice Helen Shaw
August 20, 1930 – May 16, 2010
Alice lost her courageous fight against many illnesses in Revelstoke, B.C. on May 16, 2010. Surrounded by her family.
Alice was born in Nakusp, she grew up & lived most of her life along the Arrow Lakes.
Those who knew her will always remember her for her sense of humour, talent of baking, her love of playing cards & making puzzles with family & friends.
Alice also known as Granny to many people, will all say that she was an amazing woman in so many ways from her outgoing personality to her caring & supportive ways to her outlook on life. She always put everyone, before herself & family was her number one. Granny will be greatly missed, especially for her jokes & rhymes…

She always put a smile on our faces.
Alice is survived by her daughter-in-law Pearl, her granddaughter’s Caroline (Kevin), Marian (Scott). Wanda (Dan). Dorothy (Wade), seven great grandchildren Meagan (Randy), Brandon, Tiara, Kimberly, Kyle, Cody & Kylee. Also her brothers Ernie (Ollie), Alf (Marline), Norm (Pat) & her sisters Frances, Isabel (Cory), Edith (Jack), Elenor (Patti),
Vi (Dave) sister-in-law Lil, brother-in-law Abe & many nieces & nephews.
Alice was predeceased by her parents Ernie & Dorothy Roberts, husband Wes, son Barry, her brothers Fred & Dick, sisters Mary, Phylis, sister-in-law Mabel & brother-in-law Alf.
Alice will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
