In loving memory ~

Adrian Dupuis was born in Meadow Lake Sask. He moved with his family to Retallac, BC and later to Kaslo.

As a young man of 16 he came to Nakusp and started his forestry career working for Celgar Ltd. in the lumber mill. He then worked as a Timber Cruiser/Compassman for the many Companies of the Arrow Lakes TFL. Through the years he was promoted to Logging Foreman then Superintendent of Roads, retiring in 2005 after 46 years of dedication. Adrian had a love for the outdoors and adventure. Hiking, exploring old mine sites, snowmobiling, hunting, quading and picking mushrooms were some favourites. He was active in Rod & Gun Conservation, Kinsmen and Minor Hockey. Along with carpentry skills he gave willingly of his time when and where it was needed. He leaves behind his wife Judy, children Jean {Darren} Hewat, Rodney {Carmen} and Kim Hetrick. Grandchildren Bryan, Laura Hewat, Leanne {Robert} Jansen, Bradley {Sara} Dupuis, Paige Dupuis {Cayman}. Great Grandchildren Daniel & Hudson Hewat and Brooklyn Jansen. Adrian passed away at age 81, his ashes are placed at

the Nakusp Cemetery. The family truly appreciated the recognition of Adrian's life with your presence at the Celebration of His Life, the beautiful cards filled with such meaningful words of lasting comfort. To those who enhanced the food table we thank you. Special thanks to the Care Aids at Minto House, Talerico Place in Castlegar and the New Denver Pavilion for their wonderful care.
