The Regional District of Central Kootenay and the BC Wildfire Service invite the public to attend community information sessions being held in Edgewood and Nakusp on Wednesday. A regional wildfire update will be provided by the BC Wildfire Service, including information about the Mt. O’Leary and Nakusp area wildfires.
The Edgewood meeting will take place at 3 p.m at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 203 at 234 Granby Drive. The Nakusp meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Nakusp and District Sports Complex at 200-8th Ave NW.
The RDCK is collaborating with BC Wildfire to provide residents with an opportunity to learn about the current wildfire situation and ask any questions that they may have.
