Nakusp RCMP arrested two men for methamphetamine possession on Thursday, Sept. 3.

Thirty-one-year-old Alan Orr and 22-year-old Matthew Bergman are each facing one count of possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. Both men are Nakusp residents.

“A little under an ounce of methamphetamine was seized,” according to Cpl. Jason Burndred.

Orr’s first court appearance will be at the end of October.

RCMP also recovered some property during the week that they believe was stolen.

If anyone recently had a compound bow pilfered from them, they can attempt to claim it at the Nakusp Detachment. They will need to provide a description and proof of ownership.

The Nakusp RCMP also have a number of bicycles waiting to be claimed.
