Burton man killed, two others seriously injured

Burton man killed, two others seriously injured in crash the day before the fall fair.

A serious accident on Friday afternoon took the life of Karl Neuls, a long-time Burton resident. His wife Shirley Neuls and their friend Renete Pohland were flown to Kelowna with serious injuries.

They are in the thoughts and hearts of friends and family, who gathered at the Burton Fall Fair, an event all three were instrumental in organizing.

Why the vehicle left the highway remains a mystery, and there were no other vehicles involved. The reason for the crash is still being investigated.
