The B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has announced improvements coming to highways across the province.
According to a B.C. Transportation and Infrastructure’s media release on May, 8, Highway 1 Revelstoke to four-lane (over 15 kms) will receive conventional resurfacing. Highway 6 from Nakusp to Burton, a 36 km stretch, will receive hot in-place recycled asphalt resurfacing.
The media release did not indicate an exact time for the scheduled projects but said that the work will be conducted over the coming months.
