A Castlegar youth has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault.
The youth, who can not be named due to court-ordered publication bans, was charged with two separate counts of sexual assault and one count of assault by choking.
On Nov. 13, 2024, he entered guilty pleas for one count of sexual assault on a Castlegar Provincial Court file and one count of sexual assault on a Rossland Provincial Court file.
The youth is next scheduled to appear in court in mid-January to set a sentencing date.
Publication bans are also in place protecting the identity of the victims.
