Nakusp is about to shine when the light-up returns to the town on Dec. 6.
The 2024 Light Up Fest will take place on Broadway Street.
Kicking off the festivities will be the merchant tacky sweater contest from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m., be sure to dress to impress while touring the town.
The tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m. followed by the parade.

The Nakusp Chamber will be hosting the business blitz shopping, while Nakusp grads will have a kids’ fishing pod and take in the action of the youth street hockey game thanks to Nakusp Minor Hockey.
Live music from SASS and Dr. B & The Biscuit will ring through the streets during the night’s festivities as they are set to play on the outside deck of 3 Lions Pub.
The Light Up Fest is organized by the Society for Nakusp Community Events.
