Staff from the Arrow Lakes News had the thrill of meeting Mike and Godfrey from Rust Valley Restorers at a pancake breakfast on July 1.
Rust Valley Restorers is located in Tappen on the shores of the Shuswap Lake.
They have a documentary series on the History Channel where they fix up classic cars.
Mike brought his car and joined the Nakusp car show where everyone had the pleasure of viewing many beautiful classic vehicles.
They also came to join in the other festivities and celebrate the retirement of local Fire Chief Terry Warren.
Warren has been with the fire department for 43 years with 30 years of that as chief.
He officially retires next May.
