The snow is going fast at the Fauquier and District Golf Course. For two frequent visitors from Lumby, Doug and Jake, it was a winter wonderland and Spring romp paradise.
The Club grounds-keeper and a helpful member have already been inspecting the greens, which must be carefully monitored this time of year. If the sunny weather keeps up, there may be golfing for Easter.
The Fauquier Community Club hosted a Super Bowl party to show off the new projection theatre system that was purchased with Columbia Basin community funds. Even though half the fans were disappointed (as usual) it was a lively and fun gathering.
The Club is open to suggestions for other entertainment events and ideas for kids, families, and adults to enjoy this new asset.
