The Arrow Lakes Hospital Foundation (ALHF) got some good news in the form of a gift.

The Kal Tires for Good Grant was awarded to the ALHF. The grant was described in a press release as being a program "designed to help charities and non-profits drive positive change in communities."

Through this grant, Kal Tires gifted the ALHF a gift certificate valued at $1,650 for a set of tires. ALHF plans on auctioning the gift certificate at the upcoming silent auction at the Thunder in the Valley Women’s Hockey Tournament.

The silent auction, along with proceeds from the tournament will be going directly to ALHS.

The tournament features seven women’s teams competing, and runs from October 18-20 at the Nakusp Community Complex.
