Luft: Norman Glen of Fauquier, born April 8, 1930 in Didsbury, Alberta, passed away peacefully at Arrow Lakes Hospital, Nakusp, B.C. on January 29, 2010.
Norm grew up on the family farm in Cremona, Alberta. He met Joyce Holbrook at a dance in Water Valley and were married in Calgary in 1952. Norm and Joyce retired to Fauquier in 1984. Norm enjoyed being with his family and especially his grandchildren, giving boat rides in his boat and handing out treats and hugs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce, daughters: Barb (John), Judi (Brian) and Val (Dale), 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 2:00pm from Saddleback Community Church, Nakusp, B.C. with Pastor Bob Bashor officiating.
