Charles Lawrence (Larry) Bailey died on December 27, in White Rock seven days short of his 87th birthday. He was predeceased by his wife Madeline and his sister Gay Riddell (Robert) of Vernon. He is survived by four sisters; Rose Sampson of Whitehorse, Sybil Tarnowski of Creston, Margaret Carbone of London, Ontario, Joyce McQuair of Nakusp and one brother Jack Bailey (Betty) of Creston. He is also survived by eight nephews and eight nieces, plus many cousins on both sides of the family and numerous great nieces and nephews. Larry was born in Nakusp on January 3, 1918, the second of seven children born to John and Ethel Bailey. A family gathering memorial in memory of Larry will be held in the Spring.
